Thomas & Friends / Re: Narrow Gauge Modeling Thread
July 01, 2021, 12:22:54 PM
Hello all once again! Can anyone provide me with a head on view (preferably taken from far away zoomed in to counteract perspective) of the Bachmann Rheneas? I'm currently scaling some 3D prints and I want to get it just right. Sadly I don't have my own rheneas but that will come in time.

I've been looking through this and I love the Sir Handel idea. Hes pretty much a triple whammy as with Sir handel you can make Falcon and Proteus too with very little effort. I also love the Smudger one,  as it
a) is a much better recolour than yellow rheneas, and
b) can lead the way into possible Duke and Bertrum releases.
Sorry that I didn't bring much new to the table

Hey all, I'm thinking about making some narrow gauge engines of my own! I've designed my own Proteus/Sir Handel in 3D on my computer, and I'm thinking about using it to make an 009 Proteus. Should I get a bachmann Skarloey/Rheneas first to see if the size is for me, or should I dive in? If it's the latter, what chassis do you all recommend? (N-Drive, Bachmann Skarloey, etc.) Thank you all!

Thomas & Friends / Re: The Bachmann Peter Sam Thread

I really hope Peter Sam comes out within the next year, as his chassis would be really useful for making Proteus. I can use Bachmann Skarloey's, but it'd be a bit annoying to fix the whole cylinder shape issue.

personally i'd say with the way things are going at the moment, this doesn't seem likely for them to release these all within the next two years.
