N / Bachmann N DCC fitted Doodlebug
February 13, 2013, 08:42:02 PM
Hi Guys,
Not an N scaler, but I do work in HOe NG on 9mm track and I'm looking for a chassis for a bogie railcar.
I wonder, could anyone, please, tell me the overall length over body ends of the Bachmann Doodlebug ?
If possible in mm please.
Thanx,

On30 / Re: 2012 On30 wish list
March 09, 2012, 08:11:46 AM
Hi Guys,
Naturally, as I'm frpom Tasmania, I'd love a Tasmanian Garratt,
BUT,
I think thats, almost certainly 'A Wish Too Far"  :)
But, hopefully, a wish that's within the realms of possibility would be for a On30 version of the HO scale Jackson Sharp Open-Sided Excursion Car with Seats.

January 17, 2012, 05:35:41 AM
Hi all,
I'm thinking about doing an On30 diesel kitbash using the new Bachmann Alco S4 loco as a basis.
Can anyone please tell me if :
The footplate/hood/cab
are all one moulding OR are they seperate mouldings?

Thank You,

On30 / Fitting decoder to DCC-Ready Shay Loco
April 09, 2011, 03:24:42 AM
Hi,
I just purchased a Shay loco on E-Bay - Didn't think to check, I just assumed that ALL On30 Shays had factory fitted DCC.
Now I see it's only DCC ready - Can anyone tell me what decoder harness I need, I prefer to use TCS decoders If I can, failing that Digitrax.
Thanks.

Hi Guys,
I've been out of On30 for a couple of years, so I'm just catching up with what's Gone on (or rather, not gone on!). :) Maybe it's all to do with the financial crisis and recession, which I know has been a lot worse in the US and Europe than in Australia, where it's all passed us by with very little effect.

Looking through the online catalogue, the pace of things seems to have slowed right down and apart from the SRR&RL type Caboose and a  artic loco, very little seems to be new.

When I was last reading these pages there was talk of Porters with DCC On Board and maybe even sound, a Davenport with sound on board, a "bigger" diesel loco and an Excursion Car~ has anything been happening with these projects ? ~ or was it just wishful thinking ? Did those plans for On30 rolling stock from Brazil ever come to anything ?

Any info much appreciated,
Cheers, Frank Savery

Thomas & Friends / DCCing MAVIS and TOBY
December 04, 2010, 12:41:25 AM
Hi,
Is there any difficulty in fitting a basic decoder to the HO MAVIS & TOBY ???? I don't suppose they are "DCC Ready" but are there any issues with having to insulate the motor ??
Thanx

Hi John,
John Weigel : http://www.peterbororr.com/store/index.php

e-mailed me that the Railbus would be ready to ship next week.

I can recomend John as a good, honest & helpful dealer with good prices. I've no connection with him other than as a satisfied customer. ::)

Apologies for using/abusing thew forum for this.
Dear OGREditor,
Could you possibly get in touch with me direct at:
franksavery@bigpond.com

I've tried three different computers with 3 different internet connections, but I just cannot get on to your ogaugerr.com website to find out how I can order a copy of your Oct/Nov special NG issue.

Thanx,

Hi all,
I'd suggest the existing or future steel Flat Car fitted with end bulkheads and a removable (cross - stacked) pulpwood load.

Dear OGReditor,
Can you give a UL that works, please.
A Google search finds O Gauge Railroader "www.ogaugerr.com" but then it's a dead end and internet explorer can't display it.

Thanx,

On30 / Re: Outside frame 4-4-0?!
July 29, 2008, 11:40:15 PM
This message is directed to Nick Burman in Sao Paulo, Brazil and I apologise foir using the list to contact him.
Hi Nick,
I'm very interested in the possibilities of modelling the whole OdeM/VFFCO line not just the Bachmann OF 4-4-0. From the photos I've been able to find it looks to have been a fascinating line. I wonder If you know of any publications on the line, books or magazine articles?

Perhaps you could reply off list to avoid abusing the Bachmann's priviliges.
