The T-boiler Shay,0-4-2 Porter or the Davenport Diesel any of them would be nice. Pleace remember us R1,R2 people, and us that are on a small buget.Large is nice, but around $500.00+ alot of us will never have one,the 0-4-0 Porter around $100.00 is ok.For some of us it's money for gas in the car and not trains for now.

Thanks again for the help. The brake cylinder was removed for the truck to bodie fit.All parts went back the same way I took them off,and siderods don't look bent.I may just leave the rods off,but the loco looks much beter with them.
  Thanks,David

First thanks for the help.I'm useing the truck as a singel unit,to rebuiled a Hartland Mack.I rewired the truck for power. The motor was working fine befor I removed and added the siderods back on.With the siderods back on the motor seemed to be in a bind, and would not turn.I removed the siderods again and the motor worked again.I never removed the wheels from the truck,so I asume that they are in the same place they were when I first removed the siderods.
  Thanks,David

June 16, 2007, 09:27:13 AM
I need a part for a Bachmann loco long out of production.I tryed Bachmann first and they had no parts for this loco. The loco is Coal Creek Lumber co.2-4-2T.The part that I need is 1 front cylinder cover.I would be more than happy to pay a fair price for the part and for the postage.I have the loco running well and I'm trying to restore someparts. Thanks for any help,
David

Thanks everyone for the input and the great photos.I hope to have one of the new Porters soon.Sounds like a great loco.My old one keeps on going,it's survived alot, like an 11' fall off my porch, and has run many actual miles.

Mr Bach-Man any chance we cuold ever see Bachmann make some of these figures?I think they would sell well,I could use about 100 of them.It would take me about 100 years to sculpt that many.
Thanks,David

Large / 3RD CLASS PASSENGERS
February 25, 2007, 09:27:56 AM
A call for 3rd class passengers.Iwould love to see a manufacturer make cheep unpainted low detailed passenger figures, about $1-$2 a figure.Maybe about 10-12 diferent figures.1:22 and 1:29 scales.I think you can buy unpainted figures in HO and N scale for a fair price, but not G scale.I would love to fill my passenger cars with a lot of figures, but the price to do so is just to high.It would be nice to see Bachmann to make these figures to fit there cars.Maybe someday we will see these figures,as I think there is a real need for them.
Thanks,David
