Thomas & Friends / Re: OFFICIAL 2018 ANNOUNCEMENTS

I'm gonna wait until Grumpy Diesel is released and buy a grumpy face plate or loco shell (with face plate) from the spares department.

I think someone needs to calm down and note that I was only trying to help.

If you listen to all the tracks which are listed, whether that be fully or partially, you'll hear that there are a number original tunes from the TV series.

Anyway I was technically aiming my post at Titanic5972, who started this post in the first place. The forum isn't just about YOU!

Try here http://www.televisiontunes.com, search for Thomas and Friends etc. Not all engines covered but you should get some good tunes.

I hate to burst some of the bubble that NikeWale has inflated for you but;

City of Truro is currently on loan and being run on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.
Flying Scotsman is in bits being heavily repaired and is unlikely to be seen in one piece and back on the main line until 2015.
Mallard is at the NRM but only to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the A4's. It will then return to the NRM sister site at Shildon, Durham.
Single Stirling currently at the Shildon Museum.
BR Class 9F (AKA Evening Star) is at the NRM but only for a short period of time.

Sorry for the bad news.

Are we really doing this?

I sort of thought we'd agreed to leave the predictions until much later in the year.

No, it's called correct use of grammar, something which I learned in school and if you start now you'll go far in life.

Glad to hear it. I speak from experience as the same thing was wrong with my Emily.

If you look at the coupling there is a spring which is part of the couplings assembly. If this spring is on the wrong side of the coupling ie on top when Emily is the right way up the coupling is too low and will unhitch her from her tender at the most annoying of moments. Carefully remove the screw swap over the placement of the spring and coupling, this will push the coupling up and keep her tender attached. Hopefully this should resolve your problem.

I've decided to use Brunswick green for my coaches.

**DISCLAIMER** This is a hypothetical scenario. I have not had insider information passed to me. This is NOT breaking news. Please take the question seriously and answer honestly. **DISCLAIMER**

I was thinking the other day, what happens if Bachmann were to announce that they were no longer going to be producing HO scale Thomas and Friends items terrible that would be and then I thought, what if they were to decide that they were going to produce five more items before they were to stop production, what would I want? So many to choose from, very difficult to decide, but here goes.

I think I'm not alone in suggesting DUCK as my first choice, the red branch line coaches second, Daisy third, Oliver forth and lastly to go with the latter, Toad.

So you're now the head of the department who chooses what to make as the 'final five', what would you want produced?

*Queue the rant* - I believe that HIT should try to focus on the already established characters and try to get the show back to the way it was when Britt was on the footplate (especially series 1 and 2). And enough of finding new places on Sodor, if it wasn't a fictional place then it'd be the size of Russia and if HIT continues it'll be double that size within a few more series, talk about global domination!. *End of rant*

I enjoyed the last layout I had constructed but I felt I hadn't managed to get in what I wanted.

I've also loosely modelled the station and engine shed sections on an old station that used to be near where I live.

I have finally managed to get some pictures of my layout which I have been over hauling for the past wee while. It obviously isn't finished but I hope you like what I have done so far...
