On the Bachmann main page you can go to product search and select 'N' scale and then EZTrack and it lists info that may be of use.

1. Normally, regular maintenance is done after hours on the slowest day of week. Usually late Sunday night every early Monday AM.
2. Should advise the moderators that this is going to happen several days in advance. That way the moderators can notify the forum members via a special posting or notice that this event will happen on such and such a day.
3. Apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Gazillions of sites currently do this.

General Discussion / Mr B was busy as a bee at WGH
November 24, 2007, 08:41:21 PM
Saw the Bachmann at WGH in Chicago area today. Needless to say he was extremely busy. Running around like a turkey with his head cut off. Talk about a real pro, he sure displayed it. So be gentle with him whenst he returns.

General Discussion / Re: TrainFest 2007 this weekend
November 15, 2007, 09:41:17 AM
TrainFest 2007 was a resonding success. Over 60 layouts on display of various scales and sizes. About 21,000 paid attendees and maybe another 10,000 kids under 12 who did not have to pay.
Bachmann's site was small but very busy. The Bmann was not there due to a previous committment. Was some new guy there who claimed heritage to Varney family as a grandson.
My club had a premier location. Just behind the big Kalmbach display at the front entrance.
I took a few photos and will attempt to post once I get developed. Used a disposable camera. By accident, it flew out of my hand and took a serious landing on the concrete floor.

General Discussion / Meeting the BachMann
October 21, 2007, 09:15:13 AM
It was a great pleasure to finally meet the infamous BachMann. And I can assure everyone that he does not have red hair.
I was at IHobby Expo yesterday and had a very good time chatting with him. He was very pleasant and stayed quite busy.
Thanks for your time Mr B.

David,
Did you mean TrainFest in Milwaukee in Nov?  Could not find a listing for Train Expo or Great Train Expo (GTE) in Milwaukee.  Earlier Bmann was not sure if he would be attending TrainFest.

General Discussion / Re: Acetate Decal Application
October 04, 2007, 09:30:52 AM
Upon further investigation found that part of the decals are not really decals. Rather they are very thin strips of acetate that you cut to fit then glue onto windows or doors. Sort of like window material used in other structures. The other half had a very thin paper backing, which when peeled off left an adhesive backed decal.
Decals threw me off as there was not much for directions and the kit (from Atlas) was made in 1963 (+/-). So decals were kind of old.
