Thanks fellows, I found out that the yard here at San Manuel has been changed and with the issues of space on the board I am looking at about a 10 or 11 inch Diameter from flex-track to connect two pieces of old straight that was part of the old line when the smelter was there Thanks again, Smokey :-X

Maybe already asked but a 0-4-0 and a shay two or three truck model would be super. 8)

General Discussion / N scale track
February 27, 2009, 10:58:41 PM
The track that came with the steam engines has roadbed already on and I see you do sale certain pieces to go with it but I need some of it to work with flex track and am wondering how much difference will it do to the track IE.,Jumping track How much drop or height is there from using roadbed and atlas 80 flex track. I don't remember seeing any flex for that track you sale. It is sweet But need to be able to make tighter radius and 3-4 degree climbs. Thats coal mines for you. By the way This layout is going into a motor home sidebox and I have a 30X36"with about 8 inches of height. Fun for sure!!will post pic's when i start it up, O'le Smokey

What I would like is a good running 0-4-0. I'd love for this to happen, as 009 modellers have little choice in second hand chassis for Locos. I've already remotored a docksider due to this.
I agree, Would love to see a 0-4-0 steam Like what they used in or around the coal mining areas of West Virginia. I am working up plans for a small short line of a coal mining area in the WV area. I  already got two 0-6-0's With some of the curves and grades used in this A 0-4-0 would help on the upper of the mining area. 8)
