General Discussion / Re: Favorite Train Movies

A lousy plot but plenty of scenes on the Cats RR was a movie called ''Black Diamond and Dinomite'' with Willie Nelson and Delta Burke. Well worth watching just for the rail scenes.

Mr. Bachmann;  Will the 4-4-0's and the 4-6-0 ever come out with sound ? If so how long of a wait will we have ? Heres hoping anyway.

On30 / Re: The Mighty Narrow Gauge East!!!!
February 17, 2008, 09:31:57 PM
Another eastern n/g railroad is the Quincy & Torch Lake in the upper penisula of Michigan. This line is a modelers dream. The line hauled copper ore from the deep mine to the smelting  plant on Torch Lake. Most of the locomotives, engine house, and a few cars survive today. If you get a chance to go to Hancock, Michigan you can see this line along with the worlds largest steam hoisting engine, now a museum.

On30 / Re: New Forney will not move
May 14, 2007, 10:11:00 PM
John,
    Did you check that the valve gear and rods are not bound up ?  I received mine and it did the same. Ran it in reverse and it moved. Found the linkage was bent in shipping.

On30 / Re: Baldwin 2-6-0 Question
April 26, 2007, 09:14:11 PM
Mr. Bach-mann;
  Will the 2-6-0 ever be redone and come out with the dcc and sound on board like the forney ?  Also will the other on30 steam ever be rereleased with the sound ? I for one am hoping so.

Jake.
   In the latest Micro-Mark catalog they have the C&O heavy mountain listed for $179.95 with the Tsunami installed.
