I am debating putting link and pins on my bachmann big hauler equipment but I have no real experience with link and pin.  Has anyone done this before?  How does it look?  How do they perform on that type of equipment?  How do they handle in reverse(a very important consideration)?

I never realized 11 was that big.  I have not seen that many pictures of her to get a size comparison.  Thanks for the info!
But I still believe we need a snow plow Mr Bachmann!  (after the ebt mike of course)

On Easter morning I am reminded of the old saying "What came first, the chicken or the egg - who cares as long as the EBT mike is next!"  At least that is how I remember it.
Since I am posting I will add my $.02
I think that the EBT 2-6-2 #11 would be a perfect fit for bachmann.  The engine  would fit in perfectly on a railroad running bachmann 4-6-0s. They obviously have the "family resemblence", they are small and could make 4' diameter curves, plus they would look good pulling 1:20.3 or 1:22.5 rolling stock.  I really think that engine would be a winner with everyone not just ebt fans.
And one other thing I think is lacking in the 1:20.3 market is a snow plow!  I just think the aristo one is ugly - plus its 1:29, if bachmann built a plow, I promise to buy one!

When you say "the obvious next loco is a c-16" I am sure what you mean is "the obvious next loco AFTER an E.B.T. mike is a c-16.  Some how the middle of your sentence was cut out

I just got back from ridge road station where I bought the kit for two bachmann flat cars.  I opened the box as soon as I got home to see what I was getting myself into and noticed that the couplers on the trucks are the hook and loops.  I thought thats ok, the knuckle couplers must be in here somewhere but all I found was two more sets of hook and loops.  Why did I get extra sets of hook and loops and no knuckles?

I know I NEED one in live steam.  15 is my favorite but 12 is less costly (in live steam) so I have to agree with Kevin's decision. 15 and 14 from bachmann followed by 16- 18, then 12.  Then Sandy River & Rangely Lakes 24 - then back to all that Colorodo stuff
Now if they finally call the right lotto numbers tonight I will foot the bill for the start up costs

I have been waiting a while to bring up the idea of an EBT mike again but this thread is already headed that way anyway
I have a few questions about the k27 that relate to a possible future EBT release.
How was the k27 class chosen first?  Was it by size? By number of engines in that class? age? everybody's favorite type?  If an EBT engine were to be produced, what would come first.  I have thought a few different ways about this, 12 is the smallest and I suppose "cutest" but there was only one of that size. 14 and 15 are very close to eachother and most people are familar with them because they are/were/will be the work horses of the excursion trains.  But 16, 17 and 18 are also very similar so you could produce them and get the most out of the design process.  Does that make sense?  I guess what I mean is you make the same model just put different numbers on it as opposed to building a new model.
If we post a request here everyday for an EBT mike will it speed the process up?
I gotta stop reading these threads, Im starting to think a model of 464 might fight in with my stuff

I just joined because i have this question that I need to ask.  First let me say that I really like bachmann g gauge products, they are my style of railroading (narrow gauge steam) and they fit my price range.
Now, I am an eastern boy and dearly love the East Broad Top and I'm glad to see even more rolling stock coming out with the E.B.T. logo on it, but why don't we have something to pull it with?  I know this has been brought up before.  And I'm not complaining about it, I'm really just curious.  I would think there has to be a demand for it since more and more rolling stock is being released...  Does Bachmann have some way of determining what to make next?  Would a petition help?  If say 100+(just a random number) people said they wanted one or two E.B.T. mikados would that influence anything.
I know that someone is making a 14 and 15 in brass but I am NOT paying that much unless it is live steam!
Just curious and anxiously waiting....
