I just bought a NOS Connie on Ebay. It came with the infamous tender truck breakage. I tryed the longer screw method to fix them but where they are broke does not fix the problem. What I really need is a glue to fix the broke parts. Tried CA and plastic model cement but no luck.
PS also came with the broken gear as well!

Mr. Bachmann, have had an order in for Flatcar kits at LHS for over 2 months, (Canada). No delivery yet and LHS is trying his best to find them. All the big suppliers in the US have them on back order as well. (RRS, RDL, St Aubins) What's the problem.

Thanks alot Bill,
I did not know Annies were ever offered in sets let alone Christmas themed. Mine has the simple Stephenson Valve gear too.
Any idea what the sets sold for? Does not matter to me but curious tho. I am happy with my purchase for my 1st loco. ($100.00 CA) But I bet those sets were a great deal at the time.

Hi All,
Maybe the B'mann or Loco Bill or anyone can help. I recently bought this engine from a shop thru E-bay. It was NOS, and came with no box or paper work, etc. He had it out on display for several years. I know it's an Annie 'cause metal siderods and all the detailing (railings, lift bars etc.) are metal as well. I know it's a 5th generation drive because of the offset bump for the drive gear. My question is any idea when it was made? Also I did not know that the Christmas colored or themed locos came as Annies.
Thanks, Randy

Bruce,
Go to the left side of the page, click product reference and scroll down to large scale. There you will find parts diagrams. BUT no manuals!!!!!

And a Mery Christmasto you Loco Bill,,,,
Could not agree with you more too!!!! and Cale who suggested it!!!!
Just about everything I have bought from toasters to stereos was able to go on-line and down load a manual for that specific brand and model number. One example, was visiting my son-inlaw this  past summer and he gave me a car am/fm cd player for our travel trailer albeit no manual and installation instructions. Within 2 minutes on-line was able to get all instructions and manual and print it out. And this unit had to be at least 6-8 years old.
Just my 2 cents worth,  Randy

Large / big hauler manual

Other than contacting Bachmann, is there a site on the internet to down load a manual? Just purchased a NOS Northern Express Annie from a Hobby Shop that was used for a display for a couple of years but the box including manual etc, has gone missing.
Thx, Randy
