To be honest, I just cut off the rapido, and made the L part of the arm with the box behind the diaphragm, then drilled and tapped the arm and mounted I believe a 2004... Or whatever the MT underslung coupler is.
Sorry If it's misleading, I can take a few pics if you'd like.

My suggestion is to get rid of the 11.25" curves. The Bmann 4-8-4's should be on broader curves, try 12" curves instead
I know it says the minimum is 11.25 but I'm telling you broader is better.
Tape might work, but do not sand/file the flanges... you will cause more problems than you already have...
If you can take a picture of the affected area for us.

HO / Bachmann DCC decoder problems
July 25, 2013, 10:32:20 PM
Hello all,
I've got a DCC Equipped F7 that won't respond to inputs  while I'm trying to program it.
First off i use a MRC Prodigy Advance Dcc.
my biggest problem is it won't accept a new address.. I have a EZ DCC controller but i do not want to use single numbers. I'd like to use 3-4 digit numbers but it wont change in cv 17 or 18 ( or 29 for that matter)
my other problem is it won't respond to acceleration and deceleration modes or start voltage either.

I am on the verge of just replacing the whole decoder but let's face it most decoders are expensive and when you have one that's already equipped you'd rather not go and change it.

Any thoughts?

thats what i want to know...is it the Spectrum line?

from what ive seen bud, theres nothing, but id say turn those locos in to dummies buy the nicer newer ones and pick an era,  most SD40's never saw F7's the SD40 were in production through the `70's the F series, through the `50's. also pick a region you want to model in america.
