Hey guys, been a while. Since announcements are pretty close I figured Iíd post my thoughts.

My gut says announcements will be light. But my hopes are always there.  Grin

These are the characters I would like to see. One or more.

I realize weíll most likely get a CGI character but a man can dream.

For rolling stock itís really anything goes now, we knocked out the essintals years ago. But here.

China Clay Truck
Red Express Coaches
The Break Down Train & Works Coach
Vent Vans GWR

Narrow Gauge
Sir Handel
Peter Sam

As for rolling stock in this I would love some more trucks. Waiting to see what coaches look like still.

The Resin line is one I am really hoping makes a comeback. I would honestly be happy with anything from the classic era but hereís a few.

Ffarquhar Station
Narrow Gauge Engine Shed
The Watermill

Large Scale is a mystery to me. But Iíd love to see the Red Coaches and Edward.

Fingers crossed boys! Canít belive Iíve been reading this forum since 2005. Weíve come a long way.

As long as they are releasing products. Making new ones has nothing to do with it. They would either have to give it up or have it taken.

Ok.  Letís get something straight, Daisy is NOT in  development.  What people on this for me to realize is that Thomas is basically a side thing for Bachmann.  And in times where prices of manufacturing are rough for them Thomas is always going to suffer.  I get people get excited and want new models but some of the posts on here makes me question peoples sanity.  People truly will believe whatever they want to believe.  Just give it time, a new engine will come the range is definitely not dead  as it still makes them a lot of money.  Though, just not as much as I think a lot of you think it does.

Basically the end point is we have to realize  Thomas isnít the only thing Bachmann has to deal with, and adjust our expectations accordingly.  Big world big adventures may have something to do with this, you never know.

Very true Terence, the season 2 version has very little chance. But I can dream Wink

As for the Narrow Gauge watermill, I personally would love it. But honestly I donít think thereís a Resin building that could be made that I wouldnít love.

Bachmann really underestimates the potential profit in this line if you ask me. Maybe theyíre just harder to manufacture. But I wish there were more of them.

In my opinion the Watermill would be a great addition to the range. Preferably Resin but Iíll take anything. Resin would be better and fairly easy IMO simple design bar the wheel itself.

However I would prefer the bridge be connected to the watermil therefore the piece could be incoptated easily.

This is the version I would love. However I know itís a dream. Just attach the bridge and make it extend to the end of the building to the left.

I have a feeling by the time they get to maybe only having one or two classic narrow gauge engines left, Duke will be back in the show. So he may have a shot by then. I hope so, he's my favorite narrow gauge engine.

That's what I've been wanting to see. The faces in use. I will for sure be getting them. I'm assuming those eyes were painted on by the modeler?
15  Discussion Boards / Thomas & Friends / Re: Thomas and Friends in DCC Sound on: August 18, 2017, 11:38:32 AM
I doubt they  would've bothered to make sound files for engines they will never make in large scale if they werent at least considering it. Maybe they  want to develop a cheaper module for Thomas trains so the price won't be that expensive.
