Checking out the pages in the catalog I noticed that the Celebration Thomas is discontinued.  This isnít surprising really since I donít recall too many people anxious for this model to come out and it was peg warmer.  No different than how the Busy Bee James will be if Iím totally frank.  Iím sure the LBSC Thomas will be a hit once itís out and maybe next year or sometime in the future we can still get a black James.  If the tooling is there and thereís enough demand for it, no reason for Bachmann to not consider it for their next engine recolor.

Also has anyone noticed the price on the large scale Diesel?  Itís considerably cheaper than the large scale Thomas, Percy, and Toby models.  Engines that have considerably less detail than Diesel and are cheaper than Diesel in HO too.  I really hope that Bachmann doesnít have the details like the ladders molded to the body and an inaccurate chassis like Lionel or Hornbyís Diesel models as a result of the cheaper price.  Either way, definitely something to think about now that heís back in production after getting cancelled a few years ago.
Also, I noticed the HO ice cream wagon and blue open wagon Aren't on the 2020 catalog, along with surprisingly, Maithwaite Station, Black Loch Folly, Knapford Station and Tidmouth Sheds, although the tidmouth sheds shed add on is on the 2020 catalog. However, a lot of model stores still have both tidmouth sheds and Knapford station up for order or pre order, one of the stores have an estimated restock date for the tidmouth sheds for April 2020.

Great review, Chaz. the Narrow Gauge Coaches look great.

For the Bachmann Daisy, they would probably make two seperate gearboxes: the front one with the moving eye mechanism will be screwed down, with a dummy front bogie with free rolling wheels below it and the rear one being part of the main drive bogie.

As for Peter Sam, they might have started production of him right after releasing Rusty, so at the very least, we might get an unpainted engineering sample of Peter Sam shown at the 2020 toy fair and image of it on the 2020 catalog.

Ordered 4 narrow gauge coaches the other day. Getting three of the red ones for Agnes, Ruth and Lucy customs and one blue coach to be Jemima.
I should note that Lucy's basis is TR Coach 3, which while similar to Coaches 1-2, is QUITE a bit shorter. Like noticeably shorter.
Thanks for the tip.

Watched Duncan the Humbug today, along with the episode screenshots from the Thomas wiki, and from the shots with Skarloey, Rheneas and Rusty at the depot, Rusty does indeed seem to be smaller than Skarloey and Rheneas in the CGI Series. Maybe the size of the Bachmann Rusty is also accurate to his CGI render, not just his basis 'Midlander', after all IMO.

Looking at Duncan the Humbug screenshots again after receiving my bachmann Rusty, I can confirm that the scaling of the Bachmann Rusty is as 100% accurate to his CGI Render as his basis Midlander; notably with the roof on the CGI rusty being level to the bottom of Skarloey's front windows, just like the bachmann models.

I could see Salty being re-introduced into the Bachmann range next, in 2020 if Stepney and/or Ryan don't get made. Salty has had better sales compared Iron 'Arry & Iron Bert, making the decision to discontinue Salty on his own along with his set that would made him exclusive to unjust, and he appears in merchandise and frequently on the show still.
