Also, the busy bee James has a painted smokebox. PLEASE let this be something that carries over to the normal model.

All I can say is, Wow. I did NOT expect to see an LSBC Thomas. Would definitely buy over the celebration Thomas As for everything else, the new set looks intriguing and correct me if Iím wrong, but I thing itís the first Bachmann set to include a building. The Busy Bee James looks nice, but I think I speak for everyone when I say Black James would have been nicer. N scale James was expected to happen, although I did not expect a G scale diesel. I know he was canceled before, however itís nice to see. Overall, about what I expected.

It doesnít happen when going backwards though just forwards.
19  Discussion Boards / Thomas & Friends / Bachmann Henry problem on: January 31, 2020, 02:30:54 PM
I just got my Henry about a week ago. However today I heard it clicking and I saw that the eyes were starting to stick. By coincidence, I saw samís trainís video on the Bachmann Henry with the same problem, however he didnít really go into to much detail other then the fact that he put oil on it. Can someone help?

Personally, I donít think weíre gonna get much announced this year for HO scale because I really think theyíre gonna try to push the N scale stuff this year

Not what I want, but what I THINK is gonna be announced.

-reintroduction of salty
-brown mail cars
-Classic Tar Tankers return
-red express coaches return
-Trevor

While salty and the red express coaches wouldnít be all that great to me, (I already have them) they are very highly requested. I expect recolored rolling stock every year now, so I see Tar tankers making a return. I can also see them replacing the green mail car getting replaced with brown ones, considering they didnít get the updated packaging yet and they actually exist in the show. Trevor, because the last time they had a non rail character was Jeremy in 2014.

Speaking of the new packaging, I havenít seen bill, Ben, or mavis with the newer packaging yet, but that doesnít mean theyíre gonna get discontinued. I only said it for the green mail car because itís just rolling stock and they couldíve used the normal mail car packaging.

I wouldnít really be surprised if we didnít get any characters announced for 2020. Daisy and peter Sam are already gonna get released next year, (or the next, you never know with Bachmann.) and tbh thatís all I really need. Im just hoping that we at least see some images of their models. Iím expecting some recolored rolling stock, maybe a new non-rail character, but thatís it., Iíd love to be wrong, my Iím keeping my expectations to a minimum.

Toby is one of the slowest models in the range if that means anything.

Fair enough I suppose.

Iím not really understanding the argument on how Stepney would be ďperfectĒ for the 75th anniversary. I mean he only had 5 episodes with a major speaking role. Plus heís not even in the show anymore. Unless heís brought back, itís probably highly unlikely that weíll get bachmann Stepney. But like I said, Iíd love to be wrong. Now with Ryan, heís very relevant in the show and has appeared in a movie.

I would love to see Trevor.
26  Discussion Boards / Thomas & Friends / Resin Signal Box Discontinued? on: October 06, 2019, 12:00:01 AM
So, I noticed that in the 2019 catalog In the Thomas range, the resin signal box isnít there. However it is on the website still... can someone clarify?

Lovely video indeed. I now have a better appreciation for the character! I hope bachmann will make Stepney, but if they donít, there are loads of Hornby Stepney Era 2ís on eBay.

Duck is a wonderful model as well. The only problems I have with him are the buffer rims not being red and the whistle being part of the mold. Those are very minor flaws though.

Hereís a fun question: What do you all think is the best and worst Thomas Item made by Bachmann? Keep in mind to respect one anotherís opinion. Iíll start. I love the Bachmann Edward. He is the most accurate model in the range. I donít like the lobster car. I think itís a very odd item because it was never in the TV show or any book from what I can recall.
