     OK Kids,
If your going to do this right you need Dudley Do Right, of the RCMP.
He was always saving some damsel in distress ( who was tied to the railroad tracks) just seconds before the train got to her.

                Enjoy,
                    Barry

Nice idea.  Smiley Wink Cheesy Grin

You're more likely to find the figures in a size compatible with Large Scale.  On a previous garden railway I had a number of such figures--including Disney's "Beagle Boys" holding up the train--complete with balls and chains on their feet.

If not overdone, an occasional gag figure or group can be fun.  One of my "favorite Prototypes" is the F&C.  I was working on the parlor car "Belle Murphy" with the added vista dome--

I was gonna go with large scale, but I changed my mind, due to budget reasons.

Anyone know how I can modify keychain figures such as these?

It won't be. I emailed them about it and it is due this summer. I would still like to see a Bachmann model of it since the MMI one will need a 24" min radius. However there are other models that I would like to see A LOT more.

Great! I'm gonna save my money for that model!
BTW, here are my top 3 most wanted diesels

Since we want so many new product ideas, I think there should be a wishlist topic for the Bachmann to look  at. For example; here are my top 11 most wanted steam engines:

I don't think Bachmann would have to pay Baldwin Locomotive Works anything. I think they might have to pay the park. Or Crown Locomotive works, which is owned by Tweetise Railroad. Speaking of that. You could take the new ET&WNC 4-6-0 coming out, and paint her up in the crappy tourist scheme that's at TRR......or take the other locomotives and take some bright colors to them, and add a park name of your choice, and presto' a park locomotive.

Btw. I'm Not trying to sound rude, but you really have to limit your posting on product ideas. I mean it is great and all, but the product ideas are very strange and un-common to get produced in the 1st place.

Rock On!

It's  OK. I need a break anyways. Wink

Take a loco. Any loco.

Sit on a bit of track. Any track.

Glue the whole lot on a board.

Add a bit of scenry and kids play ground equipment.

Not only do you have a park train but you have one parked up as well............................ Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Sorry about that, chief. It just slipped out. Grin

I guess your right. Any engine could be a park engine. Take the locomotives at Knott's Berry Farm, for example.

By the way, when I said "park trains" I didn't mean the engines built by major companies such as Baldwin.

Personally, I really like the 2-4-2.  I do think that particular 2-4-2 has the drivers too far forward to make it into a feasible 2-4-0.  The Santa Maria Valley Railway Historical has a very nice 2-4-0, which would work as an On30 model.

Some folks have also turned the Forney into a very plausible 2-4-0.

That's nothing. I've heard of a guy who turned a 0-4-0 Compressed air engine into a forney.  Smiley Wink

Are these ex Hawaii locos?  As below.

Hi. I'm going to take a break from posting links on other topics to tell you about my layout.

I'm interested in On30 because it can combine 2 and 3 foot gauge prototypes. I'm especially a fan of the Bumblebee paint sceme of the Denver and Rio Grande Western. I think it is the Warbonnet of narrow gauge.

In addition, I plan to have cartoon characters to entertain the kids including The Super Mario Brothers and the characters from Open Season.

I'm currently saving up for a train show coming in February. Can anyone please offer some advice? Thank you. My table for my layout is, by the way, 6x8.
