At my expected time of arrival, the On30 Annual is here.

Many a fine article and I especially liked the Junk'D pictures..
No talent here to do something like that so I will enjoy the pictures and dream.

I expect to receive the latest copy of On30 annual on Monday.
Pony express takes a little longer to get here in the pacific northWet.

Ahhh   a RGS 4-6-0  type engine would be nice to have but I would like one without a road name but whatever comes along would be nifty.

Just my opinion for what it is worth ..

Now we finally get something that is was needed in On30 scale.

As time goes by, I believe many manufactures will be investing in  more goodies for us to use.

These turntables look like they should be reasonably priced as it seems to be a manual version.  Might even buy two just for an additional engine yard for a few of the steamers that are rod engines. I just don't like the idea of mixing geared and rod engines.

Oh what will the future bring ?

Looks like that DEAD horse has been beat enough and then some.  I believe Bachmann knows that the demand is there but maybe there is something we don't know ?

Bachmann makes so many different items in many scales that it probably just takes time.

Now how about a three truck Shay or Climax ? And since it's Christmas time, how about a ___ and a  __ and a--- and a ---- etc etc..

All of the above replys are very correct.

I have advised new comers to the large scale and some of the other scales to find of train nut to go along with you so that you don't buy what you do not need. Might even be worth to buy that person a lunch as the knowledge sometimes is learned the hard way doing it your self and expensive.

Now if you did end up with tin-plated steel, it can be used inside for display track but there is nothing like using stainless steel, brass or even nickel steel outside.

Every year a little older and still nothing about the ever elusive HEISLER...

Ah yes another Shay being a little more larger would be nice but let us not forget the ever elusive Heisler...

You are going to get use to the fact that when you see the item, that's when you can buy it.  Information is not the best as to when things will be produced or on dealers shelves. Many of us have been asking about the Heisler for YEARS but most of us have resigned to the fact that wishing is just that..

You have the desire for items that are not being made at the present time then learn how to make do till you have the money to buy or have someone do the work for you.
No manufacture is going to take any added risk as this hobby as is streached pretty thin.  Have you considered HO gauge as it can be less in cost and one can find just about anything they can afford and then some !!

Looks like someone got their knickers in a knot...
This goes on all the time at various train chat sites and if one decides to quit everyone one of them, they would have nowhere to go.
Ride with the tide but if you half to go, see ya.

Thanks for the help.

I found out there is an article in the Jan 1980 Model Railroader on the turntable. A fellow is sending me the magazine.. Grin

I paid $50 for the turntable which I think is good since it is only missing the instruction sheet.

Last night I located a roundhouse for this model.

Life is GOOD...

I picked up a Rivarossi 5104 turntable the other day. It has been around sitting on a dealer's shelve for a very long time. Years and years..
Looking for information as there wasn't any instructions with in ! Someone probably borrowed them long ago, (wink wink).

Like to know whether it used ac or dc to run the drive motor ?
The red control box has one plug with a yellow, green , black and red ..
One side of the controller has two males pins yellow and black.
The other side has two female sockets yellow and black.
Any help would be appreciated very much.

Cheers, Darryl
