Not much action on the forum today.

Here's something to look at just for fun. ;D

Wow, Jon! That little engine certainly moves! I wonder how it compares to the real thing!

I would never recognize it as the same engine you started with. I especially like the blackened running gear.

Nice work as usual!

jonathan-

Your little Docksider really knows how to pull railcars, and it looks good while doing so.

GN 2-6-8-0,

Wow.  That's a heckuva layout.  Were you the cameraman or was one of those pairs of feet yours?

Big steam and long trains--very cool.  I watched a few of the other videos, too.

Regards,

Jonathan

P.S.  Did you notice that the Varney doesn't need sound?  It makes enough noise all by itself--especially going 80 mph. ;D

What can I say?

You've got me getting jealous and envious! :-)

I took that video in the Tucson yards on our Arizona Model Railroading Society layout while testing My new Paragon 2 Y6B.
Its 20x50 with 200 feet of mainline which is in a H shape folded dogbone. It takes three trips (600ft) around  just to completely cover the maineline  loop's.
Fully DCC its quite the layout.
