Desert King Loco will derail on bachmann points - other Bachmann CO-CO's and BO-BO'a are okay - got me bluffed - any suggestions pls. Mike.

if you are using the regular turnouts not numbered ones check the plastic piece I believe it is called the frog I have found on two of mine the rail leading up to that point is a slight bit off level causing my wheels not to follow thru. another thing I found is the air hose on some cars sags lower than others and hits this point I bent my hoses up a little to clear. that is until my #5 switches come in that i just ordered. also make sure your switch is level and the points are being thrown all the way. hope this helps.

Another possibility is wheel gauge.  On this side of the pond I would recommend an NMRA wheel and track gauge to check.  I suspect you are on the right side of the pond in which case you favorite stockist might have something similar.
