I can verify that. I had to select the DC option with the Tsunami I installed myself.
The older SoundTraxx LC decoders were not designed to run on DC I tried to prove a point to someone. The decoder was not damaged, just no response.

Below is a lot more info on the Tsunami and many other links concerning DCC. Not sure of your DCC experience but I would suggest doing a lot of reading. Store the link in Favorites. Anyone else, do the same. No telling how you might help others.
