New DCC-Ready USRA 0-6-0

Do these loco's have the NMRA 8-pin recepticle in the tender or the loco?
Getting back into the hobby, one guitar sale at a time ;)

I looked at a parts diagram, but they do not have the one for the DCC loco. I am not sure where my UP-6-0 w/ vandy is at the moment, but if I stumble upon it I'll take a peek and figure out where the decoder is...

Thank you, It would be greatly appreciated. Can you also tell me if these have the same old split axle design?

It may take a while because my stuff is not organized in any way, I've gone through 7 boxes so far to no avail.

One is slope back tender The other Vanderbuilt tender.Don't know about DCC ready connections. I suspect solder terminals though.

Older versions have split chassis and pancake motor.

These don't have to be mighty because they only move small line ups of cars around a yard but I can't imagine what Bachmann was thinking when they put a useless plastic dummy coupler on the front.  It seems to me that anyone involved with trains would know that switchers need working couplers on both ends.

Not unusual as these are only toys.
