How do I put engine in ERTL train?

Hay does anyone know how to put and HO motor component (A.K.A the whole bottom of a train) on an ERTL thomas the tank engine Wilbert ???
Ok, so I return after 3 years, and guess what, I have no railways. FAIL

Don't bother.

The ERTL Wilbert is out of scale, Hornby makes a ready to run model of the J94 Class models. Grab some paint and make a proper engine.  ;)

well the only ertl model fitted for a HO scale chassis is Lady the magic engine
