Imagine that, but with the extended side tanks and in experimental EWS Red and Gold.

Hi jettrainfan
certainly not Thomas was based on either an LNER or one of the constituent companies 0-6-0 side tank.
And the London Brighton and South Coast Railway was a constituent company of the Southern Railway, I think Stepney is the LBSC / SR one
That is of course only my opinion.
But I really do think you would be better saving up and buying the right loco rather than bashing Thomas back to prototype.
This is true of all Thomas loco models I know of except Toby.
I have not heard of a model of the Wisbeck(spelling) & Upwell tramway locomotive yes there really was a Toby type locomotive
regards John
A model railway can be completed but its never finished

Well then, why bash it when you can have the actual model ready to run?  ::)

And Thomas is based on a London Brighton South Coast Railway E2 Clas 0-6-0T locomotive, not an LNER tank.

Your gonna have a challenge painting it! :D Use decals! ;)

Too lazy to bid on Ebay but not paint an entire model, remove the face, add a smokebox, remove the side rods and repaint the wheels, add decals, numbers, lining and all of the rest?  :P

Extended parts of the side tanks could be added simply with plasticard and using the same paint color as the model.

panniertankboy8751

Mabey my definition of lazy is different then yours  :P
