does anyone know if there are any upgrades available aftermarket for Williams Engines
looking for a Fan Driven Smoke unit and possibly a louder sound for a Williams J

You can always upgrade the engine to MTH's Protosound 2.0 or Lionel's TMCC and get louder sound, command control, and more sound features than WBB's TB2 offers.

bobbie,
i bought a fan driven smoke unit from micro-mark, it actually is a aristo craft fan driven smoke unit for a g scale locomotive. I adapted it to a f7a  unit and it works fine. i used a piece of brass rectangular tubing and shoo goo modeling putty. inserted brass tube into opening of smoke unit then sealed off with shoo goo , cut opening into locomotive shell ,after shoo goo set up  i placed shell over stack and replaced screws. the more power you give the loco the more smoke. hope this helps.
