I seem to have misplaced the instructions for the Heisler.

Does anyone have the instructions for removing the front truck?

Thanks

Stan,
There is a Philllips head screw, one on each side of the frame.  These screws attach the bolster to the locomotive.  Remove these screws and the bolster along with the motor block comes out as one unit.

A real easy process to remove the motor block assembly and bolster.

Rear truck held in the same. Just don't have a picture to post.

Thanks a lot for the photo and instructions..

Worked like a charm for the rear truck but the front truck is still tightly in place with the two screws removed.

Any other suggestions?

Stan,
OOPS!  My mistake.  ::)  There are two Phillips head screws that secure the front bolster on each side.  In the picture, just to the rear of the air tank brace is a second screw.  Look at the other side of the locomotive.  On that side the second screw does not "hide" right next to a brace.

Yes Indeed I found the second screw

I missed it the first time as well.

Thanks a lot

I would really love to see the pictures and get the instructions on removing and re-installing the front truck on my Heisler.  Yesterday when placing it on the track the front truck basically dropped.  I discovered that the 4 very tiny screws holding the truck to the underside of the chassis and basically backed out.  I could only find 3 of the 4 screws.  However, I can see where they need to screw in but there is no way because of the clearance that I could get a screw driver in there to do so.  So, I am at a loss of how to re-attach the truck.  Any pictures, instructions and or videos of how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

I've included links to images to hopefully explain what I am having an issue with:
