Changing headlights on the new 2-6-6-2

I am sure this is an easy task.  However, when anything electrical and I mix, Murphy's law applies.

How does one change the headlights on the new 2-6-6-2? I appreciate Bachmann's providing variety.  However, my locomotive came sans any paperwork so no directions on how to change the headlight.

Practical suggestions are appreciated.

To remove the headlight or backup light,  Pull straight up.
you may have to pry the housing from the bracket with a
thin screwdriver the wires are simply plugged into the top
of the smoke box.

To install one of the alternate lights, bend and trim the wires
to match the one you just removed. Then plug it in to the socket
on the smoke box.

The backup light requires the removal of the tender shell as the sockets
for the wires are not attached to the shell as on the loco.

The leds cannot be changed as the lens are glued into the housings.
You will have to live with the ugly yellow lights.

The headlite, backup lite LED's can be changed. Did it because I hated the orange ones that were there.
Drill out the back of the lite 5/32. Pull the LED out and slip the new one in.
Cut a circle of thin styrene with a hole punch. Poke two tiny holes in it for the
LED leads, glue it to the back of the light and paint it flat black.
It will take three or four coats to keep lite from bleeding, but when your done it looks like it looked before you started.

Thanks Ron, I was thinking of a similar procedure but didn't
want to experiment on a client's loco.

I will consult my client to see if he wants to proceed.
