Hey there Bachmann,
Whats happening, I just checked the HO product line and there are no more DCC Ready Steamers ???  In the production line it can't cost more than about $10/ unit to install the plugs so why not give us the option ???? I am sure I am not the only Bachmann customer who is very disappointed in this.

Thanks ABC, I must have missed those THREE  out of all the products that Bachmann handles.  You helped to emphasize my point .
The 3 truck Shay. as far as I know was never used by Canadian National or C.P. so that does not help me. As far as the others I can't comment.  But it would be nice to have the options available on some of the other equipment.
Another nice to have would be more Painted Undecorated locos so that we could put our own ficticious Rail Roads or obselete short lines on them
While I realise that C.N. and C.P. don't mean much to most folks in the U.S. I am sure they like us are grateful to both railroads for any number of items being transported both ways across the friendliest border in the world.

The CPR did in fact own three shay engines. Each was a three truck shay and were very similar to the Spectrum Shay. Another of the Spectrum steamers that is similar to CPR engines is the 4-6-0.

These engines worked the Southeast portion of BC and were mainly based in the Trail/Rossland areas.

The book, "Steam Along The Boundary" details the Mining Industry and the history of the CPR and Great Northern Railroads in this area. Lots of pictures of the area and of the various steam engines used by the two railroads.

Or you can take the decoders out and install the jumper plugs. I am sure you could probably sell the decoders on ebay or at a train show.
