you dont have to be from ct to join but i started this group yesterday and i would like to get some members !

I wish you luck with your new group.  If you are serious about signing up members, you might want to appear a bit more knowledgeable by spell checking and fact checking when you describe your group.

I am pretty sure you meant knowledgeable and suspect that you are not talking about models of H0 sized trains but rather H0 sized models of real trains, that is, about H0 model trains.

Correcting these two apparent errors may increase your chances of sign ups.

Thanks, I just joined (manytraveler). I'm not from Connecticut but traveled to the Groton/New London area frequently for work. That's where I discovered the wonderful Valley Railroad with its steam trains and "commodious riverboat" :D A great shop there and magnificent locomotives. It's one of my favorite places. I've traveled there for pleasure a few times as well, including the early 90's circle trip on the P&W behind the SY #142 locomotive. I have the Bachmann model of that loco (unlettered) and have always wanted to make some of those beautiful green, open vestibule coaches. I look forward to enjoying your group.
