3 truck Shay

I want to install an Aristo Revolution control system.  I need to purchase an addition circuit board if my 3 truck Shayu is not DCC ready.  What is the best way to determine if it is?  I also want to install a Phoenix sound board.  Any tips or suggestions?

Who makes it? Is it a Bachmann Spectrum?

The Shay is Spectrum Bachmann.

I assume that you are talking large scale. This new control system appears to be mainly for large scale railroading.
