How do I build a removable section track for entry.

Impressive.  I wish he would have run a train over it just to see if there are any adverse affects when running over the gate.  I wonder how he scribed an elliptical curve?  What does that tool cost? :)

In the video how does that section get stable track power to each of the 4 rails

He didn't point it out in the video, but I got a couple of quick glimpses of a black cable, running in to the side of the gate (hinged side).  Probably just soldered some small wires to the mainline track, ran them through a cable, and soldered the wires to the gate track.

If you Google elliptical curve you'll get some good results.   
It's really a simple mathematical curve that anyone can layout
with a pencil, string and a couple of pivot pins.
