Hello, just bought a used car made by tyco. also has mantua & a number 2214 inside. Does any one know if the trucks & couplers can be upgraded. If so which ones should I get. Thank You.

They can be, but you would need to do some work to do so, and unless the car is rare or not available from another manufacturer you may as well buy a new one with good trucks and coupler. The trucks and couplers would not be a drop in replacement. I would either glue or use self tapping screws for the coupler box to attach it to the body and use styrene or washers to lower it to the appropriate level. For trucks you would need to fill the holes and then make new ones for the new trucks. You may also want to buy metal wheels if you prefer that, I usually do.

It looks like you got a car that was made while mantua still own the tyco name.  Kd does make couplers that will fit, but then you still have truck mounted couplers.
