Why doesn't Bachmann make 1/3 or 1/2 tracks in both curved and straight?
I've hit a snag in trying to make a layout I designed and need a few short pieces (less than 12")

There is a post back on Nov. 27, page 6 when I wrote this, that talks about changing curve diameters and grafting to other brands of track. At that time, Mr. B. said that were no plans for additions to the track selection. All is explained in said post. Hope that it's of some help.....Later All....S.B.

Dear wd,

The 90 degree crossing comes with 4 half-straights.

If you could find some glue/cement that would work on the ties, you could hack-saw the rails to almost any size you wanted.

Just leave the center and the end ties intact.  (Center tie to hold the rails, end ties to keep the track section clips functional.)

Here is a link to the thread SB talks about:

Be sure to continue on to the second page.

Free the G half-straights !!

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Joe Satnik.
