Bachmann Branchline and the US

How come the people in the UK can purchase American locomotives (from Bachmann Branchline's site) but the US can't purchase items from Bachmann Branchline? Its a bit odd to me. It would be cool if I could purchase a Graham Farish Black 5 or any other loco for N/OO Scale. I'm mainly asking this because I like British locomotives and it would be cool if I could purchase some.

I've never tried Models11.com. They do have a nice web site though.
I've dealt with Hatton's in Liverpool for several years. They're very reliable. Shipping does take a while at times. My longest wait has been 4 weeks, shortest one week. Usually it's a customs hold up. Shipping ates are exceptionally good for overseas .You might give them a try if you can find what you're looking for at Models11.
