When I buy an E-Z Controller can I plug it straight into the house voltage or do I need to buy a transformer to supply the Controllers input voltage?
If so what is the Controllers input voltage?
Then do I just connect the Controllers output directly to the track to run my DCC 'on board' Consolidations?
And Yeh! I'm a babe in the woods!

Jakuma,

The Bachmann E-Z Controller comes with it's own "brick" style power supply,
the brick plugs into 115, and outputs 16v   1000ma   16va.

Thanks, Rich.
Now I know what to do. I can buy a 240v to 16v 2va transformer here for $9
Australian mains voltage is 240
