DCC fault find

Hi can you tell me how to check for shorts in my track, i built a new track and it was running except in 1 area were there was no power at a turn out, changed the turn out now all i get at the controller is the led flashing fast and no 1 is is also flashing fast.

hope this make sense to someone, i am new to model railways so i apoligise for my ignorance in advance.

A picture of the layout will help. What type of track, are you using standard or numbered turnouts, etc. Any extra info you can add helps.
