Just bought a used 1993 lackawanna trainmaster. Can't get it to go in reverse. What are the things that can be done to determine the problem? thanks

Post a question here! However, provide a few more details like the manufacturer, DC or DCC, condition of the loco, specifics of your loco's operation when it works going forward and when it doesn't in reverse, etc. For example, does it make noise, lurch, smell like smoke or ozone?
