I have been trying to obtain a couple more passenger cars for my layout, but it seems that all my normal sources are sold out and can't get more.  Has Bachmann discontinued them, or are they simply waiting for a new run to be made and shipped?  Just curious.

Dear Don,
Some road names are discontinued, but there will still be passenger cars.
Have fun!

I am specifically interested in the unlettered olive cars.  I assume those will be available pending a future delivery.  Is this correct?

Another source could be The Favorite Spot online store:

At this time, he lists an olive observation car and a green baggage car.  The observation cars are dead easy to make into coaches.

Growing older is mandatory but growing up is optional.

Hi Jim,

Yes and no. The major differences between the two are the facts that the observation car has a special railing set and windows on that end. Swapping out the railings is is not that difficult, but covering the end windows to make an observation into a coach is a bit more involved.

The 0n30 passenger cars are in the Micro Mark catalog I received a couple of days ago. The illustration shows the green coach and observation.

They are not listed in the online store. I would suggest calling them.

I met that guy at the Greenberg show in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, yesterday. He was very personable to talk to and helpful with questions, and this confirmed HO guy ended up buying a 2-6-0 (analog DC), a box car, a flat car, and a drovers' caboose from him. Not sure where I'll be going with this, but I'm completely enchanted with the locomotive!  :D

Peterboro RR is an A-one dealer. John Weigel is super to deal with.

I'll second that! He even got track from England for my Fn2 railroad. Great to deal with!
