On30 Two Truck Shay

Does the DCC "Ready" Two Truck Shay accept the NMRA 8 pin plug decoder, or is there soldering required to install the "Equipped DCC" decoder?

Can not speak for recent production but both of mine have the 8 pin plug. Only difficulty is finding space to tuck the decoder out of sight. TCS T-1s work very well with the Bachmann on30 engines.

Hi Munch,the shay accepts an 8 pin plug,there is just enough room between the fuel load and the plug to fit in a small decoder,no soldering required.
