Hello, fellow modelers :) I've been working on my layout quite a bit over the past few days, and with all the track work completed I've been working on landscaping. Knapford is my main focal point at the moment, and I thought I'd share some photos :)

Any comments are welcome and appreciated!

Shawn

That's amazing.  Would you mind if I re-created that scene in CGI?

ThomasFan247

Thank you! :) And not at all, be my guest!

I LOVE what you've done with the lighthouse!  That path you made leading up to it was a very clever idea.

You've done great with landscaping so far, I'm very impressed. :)  Mind posting your track plan of your layout?

Modeler of HO/OO, OO9 and N scale.  Hoping for N scale Henry, Edward and Duck.

For anyone that didn't see it, here's a new set I built, 'The Old Tunnel'. :)

Thank you very much! I don't have a track plan made up at the moment, but I will be out of school by the end of the week so I will try to have one up soon :)

As I've said before Christian, this looks very, as Dan would say it, "Orsum". This layout is a huge improvement over the old one, and that's saying a lot! :D

Excellent!  Good to hear!  I may post layout photos soon of my layout in it's current state.  I'll keep everyone posted on that. :)

First off I'm loving all the layouts here.
Secondly, if anyone remembers I posted my layout here a little while ago and was surprised by the positive response I got. I was happy, however it is a prebuilt layout and the incline is too steep and the radius is too tight for 2 of my favourite engines real life engines (the "Flying Scotsman" and the "Mallard"), Gordon and Henry as well :(.
So I am devising a plan for a layout I'm making, and after that 2 sets, one of which will be a cross between a railway series/TV series shed (a turn table leading to a railway series like shed) and then a station terminus, made to look like knapford, but differently set up. I shall draw up a track plan (albeit hand drawn and most likely poor quality) when ever I have enough time to draw up and think one through enough.

The both of of you have fantastic looking layouts, how big are they?
