auto reversing track

Hi, My name is steve and i'm a newbie to the forum...I bought some auto reversing track and don't know how to set it up to work...do I need a special car to make it work power track I'm a little confuse,threr were no instruction etc. when Ipurchased it   Thanks  Steve
