Have one of each of these Bachmann Standard beauties (one MP and the other Santa Fe).  The factory dummy knuckle coupler has a flat thin straight shank with a pin hole in the pocket end (not the standard drop in Rapido coupler replacement T shank).  Locomotive pilots have a flat thin horizontal slot going into the dual screwed coupler pockets.  My thought is to cut out a larger opening to custom fit Micro-Trains 1015-1 couplers, but this will be more work than normal.  My Atlas diesels are a quick change to 1015-1 in about 10 minutes.  What is a quick fix to fit working couplers to these Bachmann GE diesels?  Frankly, I doubt that the new working Bachmann knuckle couplers (with T shanks) will fit, plus those are too big, almost HO scale.
