I have a Bachmann 4-6-0 with sound. I model the Virginia & Truckee, and their engines all had oil bunkers. Is there a source for an Oil Bunker or do I have to scratch build one?

Is it the 63" version with the USRA Medium tender from the 2-8-0? If so, you may be able to find one that might fit, otherwise you might have the scratch build one. I don't think it shouldn't be too hard to make one. Another suggestion would be to acquire an oil bunker top from the Baldwin Modern 4-4-0 and just modify it enough to fit and look realistic. If it is the NYC style 63" driver version, do the same as for the C&NW version (the one with the USRA Medium tender from the 2-8-0) and make it fit. If it is the 52" driver version then acquire an oil bunker top from the Baldwin Modern 4-4-0 tender and see if it will fit since the tenders for both engines (52" driver 4-6-0 and Baldwin Modern 4-4-0) are , if I am not mistaken, exactly the same shape. They just made the one with the 4-4-0 (Baldwin Modern) with an oil bunker for certain versions like the Great Northern one.

One version of this loco comes with the oil bunker option. Smaller tender. The 4-6-0 has two different tender shells and different tender frames. One has the oil option. I would call Bachmann parts and ask if the shell comes with the pieces as shown in the tender diagram.
Go look at the diagrams. A picture is worth a thousand words.

If you have the larger tender, you might try the below site for the oil bunker.
