I wouild like to use Bachmann EZ track with an older power supply.   Is there anything sold (ready made) that would fit the male contacts on the EZ track terminals and stripped wire ends to connect to transformer?
Any help would be appreciated.

There are Ez-track feed wires that have fork style crimped on connectors or you can just cut the plug off and strip the wires to connect, you could crimp on your own or just solder/tin the wire and wrap it under the screws.

Now to answer your Question directly 3/16"  or .187  female crimp connectors can be used with regular wire. (the 1/8 or .125 are a little small)

You could just solder the wires straight to the terminal track.
