Does Bachmann offer the brake wheels and staffs for On30 cars as spare parts? I keep losing them and could use several to repair some of my On30 cars. They get broken or fall off during transport to shows.

Would be a nice thing to be able to get.

You would be better off ordering a pack of the several types of brake wheels the Grandt Lines sells, and getting a length of brass or music wire from your local hobby shop or big box retailer.  A good size would be .025," or 1" in the prototype size.  The Grandt Line brake wheels are very highly detailed and because of the choice of style they offer, you can different brake wheels on your cars.

Scott's suggestion is good.   I use .025 wire (from Tichy) which is actually 1ΒΌ" dia. and the Grandt Line #33 brake wheels.   Although there are different sizes offered. http://www.grandtline.com/model_railroad/detail%20parts/o_scale_detail_parts_freight_cars.htm

An excellent idea to use the Grandt Line parts. Thanks
