Question or (  glennk 28 ) or anyone else who knows. What was the name of the movie the D&RGW Bumble Bee was in as I have never seen it and would like too. Any other information you have on this engine and the K- 28 in these colour is appreciated. Thanks in advance

I may be wrong, but I think the movie is "Rio Grande".

just "Rio Grande" as a movie will get you John Wayne and no trains.  The movie you want is "Denver and Rio Grande"gj

Thanks for the correction.

Chuck

I got half of the name.

edit

I just checked my source for my original statement,  Rio Grande Narrow Gauge by John B. Norwood (p.223), refers; to this movie as follows, "For the first time in motion picture history, two trains were crashed head-on for the 1952 Nat Holt motion picture Rio Grande."

I guess he was mistaken in the name.
