I have a terrible time trying to put the steel bachman track sections together.  The rail wants to push the other rail in the ties and not slide the sections together.  Is there a secret to doing this in an easy way.  I am use to O gauge track and it goes together easy.

The only thing I can offer is to grasp the rail and ties tightly while pressing them together.  It sometimes helps to wiggle the part where they come together.  I am wondering if some of the sections were dropped causing the joiners to be out of shape.  All in All O scale track is a little easier to assemble.  I am sure you will get the hang of it.
