Dear Ellen,

Present on-line catalog MSRP of WBB Berkshires is $449.95.  (MoPac road name not listed.)

If you've ever wondered if inflation was real or not,

2004 Williams (Pre-WBB) MSRP for your MoPac Berkshire was $299.95, on sale Christmas 2004 for $254.96.

A variety of Williams passenger cars were available in MoPac livery at that time:

The catalog steered buyers to 60' Madisons.

Also available, 72' Madisons (now "Heavyweights") and O-27 Streamliners.

Listing price for Berkshires on e-bay is around 269+S.H. , though many road names languish at those prices.  (Search words: Williams Berkshire)

(A few road names seem to sell, check the "completed listings" for their final selling prices: green = sold, red = not sold.)

There is not a recent "sold" example of your MoPac Berkshire to compare prices with.

Here is a current listing of a Williams MoPac Berkshire with six O-27 Streamliner cars:

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Joe Satnik

Edit: capitalization, add green and red to completed listings sentence.

If your loco is too heavy to lift, you'd better be able to ride in, on or behind it.
