I always liked the Stirling Single with it's 8' driver. When Bachmann brought out the Emily I got one to convert. I did a lot of research and got some books about the Stirling. I got some parts from a company in the UK to aid in my conversion. Through posts on some internet I met some like minded folk and it became a good collaboration and I made some new friends. One urged me to post on here in the hopes that Bachmann would make a Stirling for others to have.

Jerry, What a great job you did on this!  It never ceases to amaze me about the great talent we have among those in our group.  I doubt it will ever be produced, but there is no question that the work you did will be an inspiration to those with an interest in modeling the UK prototypes!!

Have a great holiday!
