The websites that I've seen do not carry a distinction between the newly tooled boxcar and the older one (the one that sits too high, has the older wheels and thick ladder).  How does one go about ordering one of the newer ones?

Dear Tom,
What newly tooled boxcar?
Have fun!

Ah ha...
That's an old boxcar with the new frame. Get the box with the white rather than gold label.
Have fun!

Mr. Bach-man,

Is it just a label difference or is there a sku difference too?  Are the new ones being phased in to replace the old ones, or are the roadnames different?

the Bach-man

Dear Tom,
Only the label has changed. It is a running change.
Have fun!

Dear Bach-man
Does that mean all the cars that use the commend frame will have the new lowered look. etc flat, gon/low&high, stock, cars if they have white labels.

Dear Shayman,
I'm not sure. A running change can happen at any time, so it's possible that even a boxcar could come either way. I'll check some f my cars.
Have fun!

 Hi Bach man
So the best way to tell is if the cars have a straight shank coupler?
