Here's what I've been up to lately.

2 sets of Ma & Pa coaches (2 baggage and 2 Coaches)

B&O Caboose from a bachmann North East Style caboose

and current project is a C&O 2-6-0. Since it;s doubtful that Bachmann will do a run of the C&O #377 they are doing in N scale in HO Scale(a 4-6-0) I've painted up my own. Still gotta decal it but the main work is done. all hand painted

you can see my whole collection as well as other projects completed/on going at my collection page on Facebook

Hi, which models / kits are the basis for your Ma & Pa coaches, how accurate are they and what is the source of the lettering, please?

Bill.

The models are old Con-Cor/Rivarossi models. the paint scheme is accurate based on the book I read and i have seen a Ma & Pa baggage car at the B&O Museum in Baltimore, MD. The lettering is a little off but it works for my tastes as no one has Ma & Pa pass car lettering The decals are from the Ma & Pa Historical Society. I also did a Doodlebug using the decals.

Finally got around to doing an official shot.

and here is a before pic of my next project

My next major project. 4-6-0. This is how it looked before. Already fitted a new tender and cleaned her up a bit. I have a new pilot which hasn't been fitted yet. Given her a new steel cab instead of the wood one, don't remember swapping it out tho. Starting to work on the paint now, just awaiting a part from Bachmann to get here, should have it by monday.

Thanks, had those coaches for a while but nothing to pull them. Didn't like the engine the company put out that made the coaches so i was stuck with em, ran out of Ma & Pa decals for the engine when i was redoing my custom ma & Pa rolling stock so i gave the engine to the C&O...now if Bachmann comes out with an HO 4-6-0 #377 i'm gonna be mad haha.

My rehab project is moving forward, got my part today so im about to start lettering her now. Decided to name(TBA!) her with the road number 1912. She will be a B&O unit.

Paint Shop Row, All have new decals somewhere or in one case all new. Just waiting on decals to dry now.

B&O 1912 is a rehab engine, fixed her up, even gave her a name which is blurred out until an "official" photo is done.

B&O 184 had to be renumbered due to a Funeral engine having the same number.

C&O 3965 also was renumbered as i had another engine already numbered 1369.

That's great!  :)

First: Re# to 185 from 12 due to Funeral engine for my dog Purdys train also being #12.

Second C&O 2-8-0 renumbered from 1396 to 3965 because i accidently gave my C&O 1396 as well.

Third is the rehab engine Baltimore & Ohio 4-6-0 1912. Features new pilot, new Vanderbuilt tender, fresh paint and some TLC. She was named Titanic in honor of the 1500 souls lost the night of April 14th 1912 and the Morning of April 15th 1912 when the ship sank. I went all out on this engine decal wise.

Balto-

Outstanding work! I so enjoy seeing the terrific models produced by people on this board.
It seems each one is better than the one before. And it's gratifying to see people doing
real modeling, not just running bland TR trains the way they came out of the box. Back in
the day, nothing went on the layout until it was detailed and had its mechanicals
inspected and improved, if not replaced.
