Sectional track

The track in my area is being upgraded to 136 lb rail for future Amtrak trains, access. The railroad is the Pan Am Railway. Here are a couple photos of the track for a couple crossings. Ribbon rail is in place on each side of the present track. That is 1/4 mile long sections of track.



Piles of new ties scattered along the right of way. I ride my bicycle along a rail trail.

If your loco is too heavy to lift, you'd better be able to ride in, on or behind it.

I was wondering who pulled the copper rail out of the dirty Post War Super-O. Boy the color is spot on. Thanks for "showing us the future" "Swami"...err, I mean Rich.
