A message for our UK members (and visitors).

The 2013 Telford Narrow Gauge show takes place on Sunday, 14th July.

I have attended past shows and always seem to have a good time, in some cases spending a lot longer than intended. Past shows have had a good mix of modelling scales, gauges and prototypes and it usually draws in a number of specialist narrow gauge suppliers and interest groups.

There's also a full scale train ride available just up the road, for more details check out this reference;-

The World Heritage site of Ironbridge Gorge, the cradle of the Industrial Revolution in England is a couple of miles south and worth a visit, if only for the hot pie shop at the end of the bridge (highly recommended by my wife).

And for those afflicted with domestic baggage, who might not otherwise be able to attend, the venue is not far from the Telford Central shopping area and other retail parks, and recreation facilities for little kiddies.

terry2foot,
I'll have to put this place on my list for my next visit.  We were up at Kidderminster a few weeks ago.  Thanks for the links
